Agreement

By using Voaize you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the service on behalf of a store or brand, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Access is provided by invitation. Voaize is not a public self-serve signup.

The service

Voaize lets a store attach information to a product, print a code, and allow shoppers who scan that code to ask questions. Answers are based on the materials and instructions the store provides for that product.

We may change, limit, or discontinue features. We do not promise that any particular capability will remain available. The service is provided as-is to invited stores.

Accounts

Keep credentials with people who are authorized to operate the store. You are responsible for activity under your account, including anyone you invite. Tell us promptly if you believe access has been misused.

We may suspend or end access if a store is abused, used to generate harmful or unlawful content, or if these terms are broken, or if we need to protect the service or other stores.

Your content

Product materials, copy, logos, and instructions remain yours. You grant us a limited license to use that material solely to operate Voaize for your store, including answering shoppers who scan your codes.

You must have the rights to the material you provide. Do not upload content you cannot legally use, or personal information you are not permitted to process.

You are responsible for the accuracy of product claims in your materials. Information generated through the service can be incomplete or incorrect. Treat it as a starting point for the shopper standing with the product - not as a substitute for the product itself.

Shopper conversations

Shoppers who scan a code interact with a product page we operate for your store. Do not use the service to collect sensitive information you are not allowed to collect.

You are responsible for placing codes where the expected scanner is an adult shopper, not a child.

Acceptable use

You may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or another store’s data
• Use conversations to harass, defraud, or impersonate
• Upload harmful software or content you do not have rights to
• Present the service as professional medical, legal, or financial advice
• Copy, scrape, or reverse engineer the service except where the law allows
• Resell access or present Voaize as your own product without our written consent

Our intellectual property

Voaize, the site, software, documentation, and related marks remain ours or those of our licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership. You may use the service only as we provide it to your store.

Availability and liability

We aim to provide a reliable service. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, perfect answers, or any particular commercial result. Information provided through the service is not a warranty about the physical product.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages; lost profits; lost data; or decisions made from information provided through the service. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for Voaize in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you have not paid us.

Some places do not allow certain limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum the law allows.

Indemnity

If a third party claims that your content, your product claims, or your use of the service caused harm, you will defend and indemnify us against that claim, including reasonable legal fees, except to the extent we caused it by our own willful misconduct.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in San Francisco County, California are the venue for disputes that cannot be resolved directly, except where a mandatory consumer venue applies.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. Continued use after a posted change is acceptance of the new terms. If a change is material, we will try to notify store contacts we have on file.
